In this Toronto Film Festival Critics’ Award winner from Francois Ozon (SWIMMING POOL, POTICHE), a jaded literature teacher becomes increasingly enthralled by his sixteen year old student’s essays which blur the lines between reality and fiction. Intrigued by this gifted and unusual student, Germain (Fabrice Luchini, THE WOMEN ON THE 6TH FLOOR) rediscovers his taste for teaching, but the boy’s writings spark a series of uncontrollable events. Kristin Scott–Thomas plays Germain’s wife Jeanne, a contemporary art gallery director who avidly follows the student’ semi–imaginary escapades.
