Filmed on location in Hawaii, ONE KINE DAY allows a glance at the dark side of paradise that even THE DESCENDANTS didn’t provide. With an inventive musical score combining Hawaiian tunes, R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae, the film follows the mishaps of skateboarding slacker Ralsto, who must face maturity in a hurry when his 15 year old girl friend Alea tells him she is pregnant on the same day he gets fired from his skate shop job. He relies on the bad advice of friends before realizing that he and Alea must make their own decisions about what to do with the rest of their lives.
