A big hit at the Toronto International Film Festival, this wildly offbeat comedy was inspired by a slacker whom indie writer/directors Jay and Mark Duplass (CYRUS) met at an Austin coffee house. Jeff (Jason Segel, “How I Met Your Mother,” FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL) is a self–styled philosopher who gets caught up in a series of comedic and unexpected events when he leaves his basement apartment on an errand for his mother. The intriguing cast includes Susan Sarandon, THE HANGOVER’s Ed Helms, and Judy Greer, who recently made a splash in Oscar nominee THE DESCENDANTS.
