A booze, drug, and violence fuelled take on a college rite of passage, SPRING BREAKERS stars Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Rachel Korine, and Ashley Benson as four college girls willing to do anything to have the Spring Break of their dreams. When a motel room rager lands the girls in jail, they are unexpectedly bailed out by an infamous local thug (played by James Franco) who takes them under his wing. Described by director Harmony Korine (GUMMO, TRASH HUMPERS) as being like a “violent, relentless pop song,” the film combines dreamy cinematography with the director’s signature provocation for an instant cult favorite.
