Helen McCrory (THE LAST OF THE HAUSSMANS) takes the title role in Euripides’ powerful tragedy MEDEA, in a contemporary new version adapted by Ben Power and complemented by music from art-pop duo Will Gregory and Alison Goldfrapp. Medea is a wife and a mother. For the sake of her husband, she left her home and bore two sons in exile. But when he abandons his family for a new life, Medea faces banishment and separation from her children. Cornered, she begs for one day’s grace – before exacting an appalling revenge and destroying everything she holds dear.
